Dr Neal J Kruis
TC 4.7 identifies, evaluates, develops, and recommends procedures for calculating energy performance for the built environment.
The Committee sponsors Research Projects, which are a way to further knowledge in our field. We provide valuable assistance in the writing and revision of Chapter 19 ‘Energy Estimating and Modeling Methods’ of the ASHRAE Fundamentals Handbook. We often sponsor one or more Symposia, Seminars, or Forums at the Society National Meetings. This is a good opportunity to let others know what TC 4.7 is doing.
Most of the work for the TC takes place during the subcommittee meetings, so please attend those meetings to get involved in the activities of the committee.
